Homecoming is Saturday, Oct 12th, which is just around the corner. To make sure students are prepared and caught up on all of the homecoming information, RHS Knight Writers has created a list of all the to-do’s for homecoming.

“The homecoming theme is Arabian nights which includes fun colors, golds, and aspects from Arabian culture,” Sabrina Takagishi , junior class president, (’21) said.

This year, homecoming tickets started at $40 and then will go up $5 every week. Currently, homecoming tickets are being sold for $45 in the cafeteria during lunches or on Mypaymentsplus.com. To prepare for homecoming, SGA urges students to buy their tickets earlier to avoid the larger costs.

The venue for homecoming this year is the Double Tree Hilton Hotel, 4500 W Cypress St, Tampa, FL 33607 US.

“Students should look forward to a large venue, with plenty of room to dance or sit at tables, whichever they prefer,” Takagishi said.

This homecoming will also have food, drinks, and music to make homecoming more enjoyable.

“We will have food at the event as well, so you can eat and drink during the dance. Students can also look forward to a DJ that worked closely with SGA to pick the best selection of music possible,” Takagishi said.

To get ready for homecoming you can watch the morning show for tips and make sure that your dress is within dress code regulations for the dance.

“Students can build up the anticipation by participating in spirit week, which unites our school and increases energy for the football game and the dance itself,” Takagishi said.
