Boys Basketball Plays Against Jesuit Tonight

The boys basketball team is playing against Jesuit tonight. The game is at home and begins at 7:00. It is a district game.

“We’ve lost to Jesuit several times in a row. It’s time for our guys to step up and a large reason why we’ve lost isn’t just because Jesuit’s talented, but because they play together as a team. I really believe that when we play together as a team we will beat them,” says Donald Pippin.

Whether the team beats Jesuit or not, it is likely they will still advance to the district championships. The remaining district games are against Spoto and Middleton, whom they have beat in the past.

“More than anything, it’s a preview of the district championship and we don’t want to have lost to them twice going into that third game. We want them split so that there’s doubt in Jesuit’s mind. That’s a basic in basketball, that’s basic in any sport.”
