Nominate an Inspiring Black Leader for the LEAD Contest

In honor of Black History Month, the Hillsborough County School District is sponsoring the LEAD (Learn, Empower, Advocate, Dream) Contest. The contest encourages students from grades K-12 to create an artistic interpretation of an inspiring black leader in their community.

Students can enter one of three categories: Literature, Performance and Visual Arts. Students can win up to $2500 in scholarships along with electronics. Entries are due by Jan. 15 at 4 p.m. For more information, click here.
