There are many places in the Tampa Bay area to grab a cup of coffee or even sit down to study with some. Starbucks, Dunkin’ Donuts and The Blind Tiger are all prime examples. However, none of them compare to Kahwa Coffee. Kahwa Coffee won Best of the Bay, for best barista Ellis Holloway.

I’ve been to Starbucks and Dunkin’ as those are the places closest to me, but recently I’ve tried Kahwa and even though it only adds an extra five minutes to my drive, it is all worth it. Although Starbucks and Dunkin’s coffee isn’t bad, they just do not compare. Dunkin’ has always had the tendency in making my coffee too light with creamer and I just can not really enjoy the coffee’s taste. Then Starbucks with my modifications, like adding an extra espresso shot and the cold foam, it’s much pricer than compared to my $6 coffee at Kahwa. Kahwa even offers paper straws when Starbucks and Dunkin’ do not.

Kahwa always makes my coffee perfect. They never put too much creamer or sugar to where it completely dilutes my coffee and despite going on different days, brand standards consistency is always upheld. Kahwa coffee is very consistent and makes sure to offer their guests a variety of options on the menu to accommodate any allergies or personal preferences.

They offer many different milk options for those who are vegan or lactose intolerant. As well as decaf options if you do not want all of that caffeine in your system. They even have a variety of baked goods and breakfast options in addition to coffee, if you are ever craving a snack.

Kahwa Coffee should definitely be on your list of places to try. Even on Yelp, they have a 4-star rating and other locations in the nearby cities have an even higher rating. Their coffee is very authentic and even carries their own brand of coffee grounds. This freshly made coffee never disappoints.
