Despite being pushed back due to COVID-19 and then moved again due to Hurricane Eta, Picture Day for 9th-11th graders will be on Thursday, Dec. 17. Traditional students will go with their English class during that period and IB students will go during their JA or homeroom.

For eLearners, there are designated times after school where they can come to get their pictures done: 3:45-4:15 for 11th graders; 4:20-4:50 for 10th graders; 4:55-5:30 for 9th graders.

Students pictures are very important and many students just don’t take one. Without a picture, students will not get an ID card nor a place in the yearbook.

Also, students shouldn’t fret about COVID-19 when taking their picture. The school and Cady Studios have everything planned out.

“Cady Studios has created a plan that includes social distances and sanitizing so everyone can take their picture in a safe environment,” Yearbook advisor Nancy Oben said. “Other schools in the area have already had their picture day and it was a success.”

For the class of 2021, senior pictures are in order. Students must have their senior photo taken with Cady Studios by Jan. 10 (visit www.cady.com and then click “Book Seniors” to schedule an appointment for a shoot) If taking a photo at the studio isn’t possible for a student. the school has an option for an on-campus date for pictures on Dec. 16 during the school day.

“We want to make sure that as much as the senior class is included in the yearbook. This year has been hard but we want to congratulate all seniors and have their picture in the senior section of the yearbook,” Oben said.

Picture day is very important and students shouldn’t miss out.
