Baseball:
The Knights (12-10) went 0-2 last week, starting with a 4-1 loss to Bloomingdale (16-7) at home on Tuesday, April 24. They then followed that up with a 1-0 loss to Sickles (20-4) on senior night, Thursday April 26.
The Knights honored the seven seniors at Thursday’s game: Austin Glaskow, Jake Granese, Andrew McMillan, Andrew Watts, Evan Watts and Chase Volpi, and team manager Tahj Phillips.

The Knights will move on to post-season play next week where they will face Jefferson (15-7) in the district semifinals on Tuesday, May 1, at Jefferson High School (4401 W. Cypress St., 33607).
Softball:
The Lady Knights (21-6) kicked off their district tournament with a 19-2 win over Middleton (4-13) on Tuesday, April 24. They then advanced to district finals, where they beat Jefferson (12-11) by a score of 12-2 after scoring nine runs in the first inning on Thursday, April 26.
The win against Jefferson marked the fifth consecutive district title for the Lady Knights. Click here to read more about the game.
The Lady Knights will face Land O’ Lakes in the regional quarterfinals on Wednesday, May 2 at Robinson High School (6311 S. Louis Ave., 33616).
Flag Football:
The Knights headed into districts last week, claiming the district title for the seventh year in a row.
They started off the championship week with a 38-0 win over Chamberlain on Wednesday, April 25. They carried that momentum into their Friday game where they beat Jefferson 26-0, making them district champions.
“I’m really proud that our team is carrying out Robinson flag’s legacy by winning for the 7th time,” Captain and center Sophie Bailey (’19) said. “Regionals is going to be tough, but I know my team will push through together.”
The Knights will play Osceola on Friday, May 4, in the regional semifinal game at home (6211 S. Lois Ave., 33616).
Tennis:
The girls tennis team defeated Lake Wales 6-1 on Tuesday and beat Mckeel Academy 5-2 on Thursday, April 26, at the tennis regionals at the South Tampa YMCA tennis courts.

The team moves onto the state quarter finals on Wednesday, May 2, where they will play Coral Springs High.
The boy’s tennis team did not advance to regionals.
Track and Field:
Select members of Robinson’s track team competed in the regional track meet on Thursday, April 26. Of those who went, two members were able to advance to states: Ethan Geiger (’20) and Destiny Thomas (’18), competing for the 3200 and discus/shot, respectively.
Geiger and Thomas will travel to the University of North Florida (1 UNF Dr, Jacksonville, FL 32224) on Friday, May 4 – Saturday, May 5 for the state championships meet.
