Flag Football:
The Knights faced Osceola High School on Thursday, May 3, in the FHSAA 1A Regional Semifinals, winning 41-0.
They next take on Brandon on Monday, May 7, at Brandon High School (1101 Victoria St, 33510) as part of the FHSAA 1A Regional Finals.
Baseball:
The Knights (12-11) suffered a season-ending 7-4 loss to Jefferson (17-8) in the 6A District 8 Semifinal game on Tuesday, May 1.
A hit from Jack Castro (’20) tied the score 3-3, sending the game into extra innings until the Knights took the 7-4 loss.

Softball:
The Lady Knights (21-7) fell 4-2 to Land O’ Lakes on Wednesday, May 2, in the FHSAA 6A Regional Quarterfinals.
The loss ended this year’s softball season.
Tennis:
The girls’ team won the first round of states quarter finals on Wednesday, May 2 in Orlando. Alara Hollyfield (’18) and Elliot Peterson (’19) won their doubles match and took first and second in singles matches, respectively. Kaki McNeel (’18) won the fourth and winning point in her singles match.
The girls’ did move past the semi-finals round on Thursday, May 3. “We lost to the state [champions] after a hard fought match” said Ashley Oaison (’18).
The boys’ team did not progress to the state matches.
Track and Field:
Two members of Robinson’s track team, Destiney Thomas (’18) and Ethan Gieger (’20), travelled to the University of North Florida on Friday, May 4 – Saturday, May 5 for the state championships meet.
Geiger finished seventh in the state for the 3200 m race.
“It was cool to go to states and to do that well, maybe in the future I’ll do even better,” Geiger said.
The meet marked the end of the 2018 track and field season.
