The Robinson Boy’s Lacrosse team played against Alonso on Feb. 22. By the end of the game, Robinson had lost 4-10. Although Robinson faced a loss during this game, continuing their losing streak from last season, the team is not ready to lose hope for the rest of the season.
Dom DeMicco (’24), the captain of the boy’s lacrosse team, believes the losing streak has been due to the lack of players on the roster compared to the Alonso Ravens who are very powerful-in-numbers.
“We just didn’t have the offensive production we needed,” DeMicco said. “We were scoring points but not as many as we needed. We just didn’t have fresh legs.”
Despite losing, the team gave a good show, scoring the first point of the game, as well as staying steady behind Alonso until the 4th quarter.
