On Sept. 10, the boys and girls swim teams, along with the diving team, competed against Alonso and Middleton. After our team’s take down of Plant last week, the Knights met again at Bobby Hicks Pool, to continue their reign of success for their last at-home meet of the season.
“Our girls team won by a landslide,” Robinson Swim Coach, Lindsay Rubenstein said. “Our boys’ team lost Alonso by about three points, but both teams [had] beat Middleton by a landslide.”
Senior Swimmer, Joseph Caramato, who’s been swimming during all years of high school, commented on the closeness of the loss for the boys.
“[Thursday’s Competition] was really good. The girls did win,” Caramato said. “Even though [the boys team] didn’t win, we all kind of swam events that we didn’t normally swim. We all swam in the stuff that we were horrible at, and they still struggled against us, because we are that good. We were at our minimum and they were at their highest, and we still almost won.”
