On Friday Oct. 17, Robinson faced a tough challenge against the Bloomingdale Bulls. The final score was ultimately 42-7, marking the seventh loss this season for the Knights.
The Knights started out strong, scoring a touchdown and the extra points during the first quarter. The Bulls caught up fast after that, though, scoring six touchdowns throughout the rest of the game.
“From my perspective on the field, I really do believe the boys put in really hard work,” Lane Virgil, a student in the Sports Medicine program said as she was tending to injured players after the game. “You can see the growth they’ve had from the beginning of the season. Following the win we had last week, I think they all came out with, like, a strong attitude and really tried their best.”
Despite the score, the Knights have been putting in the work this season, trying their best to push through every down with energy.
“Unfortunately, we lost it in the second half of the game, but I really think they put in the work. Overall, we got beat on the basics, but I think we can come back next time.” Virgil said.
