Alexis Logan is in 10th grade and is her first year as a staff member.

Logan is passionate about reading, writing and painting. She enjoys a wide variety of books, especially those based on shows, as she likes to watch the series before diving into the story. In addition to her creative pastimes, Logan enjoys shopping and spending time at the beach. She prefers to go to the mall with her friends more than going to the mall with her family. Logan got interested in joining newspaper because she finds a passion in reading and writing.

“In 8th grade I started reading this book and it got me thinking that I can also write my own stories,” Logan said.

Although she just joined newspaper, she’s excited to share her voice with the team as she’s also growing her connection to shares her stories with others.

Logan is a very sweet girl and describes herself as someone who is sociable and shy at the same time. While she can be shy at first, she quickly warms up to new situations and becomes very talkative and social once she feels comfortable. she enjoys making connections with other and believes being friendly is one of her strengths.

” I love being kind because it’s better to be nice than be negative and people can adapt to you quicker,” Logan said.

Logan is also an athlete, she has been playing lacrosse for three years and recently started learning how to play golf, enjoying of trying something new.

Traveling is another part of her life, she has visited several states such as, Florida, West Virginia, Georgia, Tennessee and lastly Kentucky. These experiences have given her a chance to explore different places while still staying close to home. This has also given her the opportunity to explore and appreciate where she has been. With her creativity love for writing and enthusiasm for meeting new people, Logan is excited to grow a writer and a person.
