Dahvnn Inthavilaysuk is a senior, graduating with the class of 2026. This is her first year on newspaper staff.
Born in Tennessee, Inthavilaysuk moved first to St. Pete and later to Tampa, where she’s been since her second semester of freshman year. She has attended Robinson for to entirety of the time that she has lived in Tampa.
Outside of school, Inthavilaysuk enjoys sharing hobbies with friends and family.
“I usually work out with my dad and cook with my mom,” Inthavilaysuk said.
She also enjoys playing video games with her friends in any free time that she has. Her favorite game at the moment is Dead by Daylight, a horror game in which four survivors face off against one killer. When asked what she likes most about playing video games, she said that for her, it has been not only a fun pass-time, but also a helpful life tool.
“I learned how to play with the keyboard, because it was hard,” Inthavilaysuk said. “It actually helps me to type faster in this class. So I think that helped a lot.”
In terms of other methods of relaxation, Inthavilaysuk enjoys listening to music. She especially loves K-Pop, or Korean Pop music. Her favorite band of that genre is BTS, but she also likes listening to other pop artists such as the Weeknd and Chris Brown, who became popular here in the U.S.
After she graduates from Robinson in the spring, Inthavilaysuk has a good idea of the career path she would like to take. She plans to attend HCC for two years and complete a program to become an ultrasound technician. Afterwards, she will attend another institution, but she isn’t yet sure which one she will choose.
“I’m going to transfer to another university,” Inthavilaysuk said, “I just haven’t picked which one yet.”
