Coleton Rone, Multimedia Editor

Coleton Rone is a senior at Robinson and the Multimedia Editor for Knight Writers. This is his second year on staff.

Along with journalism, Rone has a variety of creative pursuits such as playing guitar and bass guitar as well as drums and piano, and is a member of orchestra, playing bass. Along with music, Rone shares interests in T.V. Production, being enrolled in T.V. production one and two at Robinson.

As the multimedia editor, he focuses on aspects of Newspaper such as videos, art and drawings. His favorite content to make is man-on-the-street style interviews with fun questions featuring students and teachers at school events. He also enjoys the film world, which actually gave him his passion for multimedia. His favorite movie is Killers of The Flower Moon, he praises its excellent casting and writing. On the flip side, a movie he particularly despises is Madame Web.

"Madame Web is an insult to cinema, the fact that it was shown in the same theater as Killers of the Flower Moon appalls me," Rone said.

Rone is heavily involved with multiple extracurriculars at RHS, being a member of both the dive and wrestling teams. He has been a wrestler since his freshmen year but has recently taken up dive this season. With wrestling being very physically taxing, he prefers dive as it is a more fun, simple sport.

"Wrestling is going to a room and getting tortured for two and a half hours with friends, it's pretty fun," Rone said.

Rone is an only child, so while at home he enjoys the presence of his two dogs, Dinky and Anna, and his cat, Duck.  As a senior and being soon to leave home, he plans to continue his passion of T.V. production by doing HCC's T.V. production program for two years, then hopefully transferring out.
