Midnight Snacks: Açaí Bowls

As the weather is getting warmer and the school year is coming to an end, that means summer is just around the corner. As students prepare to stay at home for the next three months, they must manage to whip up something to eat on their own.
Although most teenagers prefer to go out to eat, it will save you so much more money if you choose to eat at home. If you don’t know what to make I have the solution just for you…acai bowls. This refreshing, yet tasty smoothie bowl is the perfect summer food. It is also very easy to make and can be custom-made to your own desire.
Ingredients: (portion size varies)
- Acai packets
- Strawberries
- Raspberries
- Blueberries
- Bananas
- Milk or any liquid you prefer
- Agave, honey or sugar
- Ice
Instructions:
- Take out your blender and ingredients
- Put the ice, milk, agave packet, and honey into the blender
- Wash your fruits thoroughly and then place them into the blender
- Blend until you reach a smooth consistency
- Place into bowls and top it off with fruits, granola, or any toppings of your choice
This bowl was a 10/10 and it only took me 10 minutes to make. Whether you’re in a rush or want something quick, this will always leave you satisfied. Not only is it healthy, but it is also quite the refreshment on a hot summer day.
