Outer Banks, a Netflix series released on April 15, is absolutely phenomenal. When I first watched the trailer for Outer Banks I was very intrigued because there was already so much going on I just had to find out. This show was extremely good because it was very suspenseful. That made the show super entertaining and my attention was locked in the whole entire season.

John Booker Routledge (Chase Stokes), or John B as everyone calls him and his crew, JJ (Rudy Pankow), Pope (Jonathan Daviss) and Kiara (Madison Bailey) set out onto find a treasure worth $400 million. Many obstacles were set in place and the four took them head on. The show wasn’t very emotional; however, I did have some sort of affection towards the characters. But, most of all Outer Banks was a well developed series that was spontaneous throughout the whole season. Meaning the show was filled with adventures, fighting, hunting and frightening scenes which made for an extremely enjoyable show.

The show also did exceptionally well in the way it made you emotionally attached to the characters. One of the main characters that did a fantastic job on making me like him is John B. He has this passion and gut feelings that always make for a suspenseful watching. The way he loves and misses his dad, the way he sticks up for his friends, and the way he never gives up made the show very entertaining and made me never want to stop watching.

The acting of this show is on a whole other level. It was so realistic and believable. The actors are really good in how they made the dialogue and the things they were doing feel real. The show impressively did a great job because I felt like I could relate to the characters and sometimes I even felt like I was a part of the adventures that were going on in the show. The suspense in the show was very impressive. It left every episode off on an extreme cliff hanger and it was so hard to resist in watching the next.

Although throughout the whole entire season the show was irresistible, the ending of the last episode was absolutely tragic, I didn’t like it what so ever. But, they ended it with a lot of potential for more seasons, especially with all that happened in the first season. There is no word yet of another season but I will definitely watch it if it comes out.

All in all, I recommend this show if your looking for something to keep you on the edge of your seat. Or even if your just looking for a new show to watch, this will bring you to great satisfactory. This show was so good, once you start watching, it will be hard to turn the TV off.
