Maureen Pelamati’s freshman English class was challenged to make an ad for a book that they read in small groups of four.
“It was a fun learning experience where we got to work together and grow as a group,” Paul Slife said.
The students had to make a visual representation of the book and role play an interview or scene.
“It was a good way to tie together a lot of different aspects of the class content besides reflecting on the books that they read,” said Pelamati. “They could also apply their new knowledge of advertsing techiniques.”
