If I had a dollar for every time over the past four years I have asked to leave a class to go to Mrs. Webster’s room, I would be able to pay my college tuition in cash. I may constantly be working on something for newspaper, but I never regretted giving myself that workload.
I think the most important thing that knight writers have given me was a passion for something outside of normal day to day school life. Even if that something includes crashing out at every adobe software update or a lazy staff writer, this passion has kept me coming back to Robinson excited for a new day on the long trek to graduation.
I’ve enjoyed learning and growing surrounded by peers who quickly turned into my close friends. The thought of knowing I may never get to be a part of a publication like knight writers ever again makes me sad, but it makes my memories with the program that much more cherished.
To my editorial board from this year, thank you for sticking with me. I appreciate you all more than you know.
To my predecessors, good luck! I’m excited to see what awesome content you lovely ladies (+garrett) produce in 25-26.
Thank you Knight Writers, you will be missed and held dear in my heart.
