Dreary Weather Expected to Clear Up Tuesday

After an afternoon downpour around 2 p.m. today which canceled some sports practices and moved the rest off the fields, the rainy weather should clear up Tuesday afternoon after some showers Tuesday morning.

Despite the rain, daily highs will still reach upwards of 85 degrees, unseasonably warm for early November. Temperatures will cool off slightly over the weekend with highs in the upper 70s and lows in the mid 60s, but don’t expect that to last, as highs return to the 80s on Monday.

All student drivers are reminded to be cautious of any situation, including rain, which might impair their driving abilities. When driving in rain, try to avoid standing water, which can flood out your car, and allow extra time to brake due to skidding. Remembers, lights must alway be used in the rain, as this is the law.
