Additionally, spirit days have been announced for homecoming week, which runs from Oct. 17 to Oct. 21.

Monday, Oct. 17: Character Day

Tuesday, Oct. 18: Tie Dye Tuesday

Wednesday, Oct. 19: Wacky Neon Wednesday

Thursday, Oct. 20: Throwback Thursday

Friday, Oct. 21: School/Class Colors Day

Senior class president McKenna Tyson (’17) said the spirit days are only one component of SGA’s work to put on the entire homecoming week, including the dance, which will be held Oct. 22 at District 3 Arts & Events Venue.

“[SGA] have gotten together with other high schools and went to some of their homecomings to get ideas of music and venues,” Tyson said. “We’re really asking the people what they want, more or less so they enjoy homecoming more.”
