Believe it or not, Robinson’s culinary team is completely changing the menu for their restaurant.
Starting in the month of October all the way to December is when this change will be embedded into the menu; the meals included will be fall/Italian themed.
Miah Callahan (’27), a student active within the culinary team, expresses she is excited to try these new entrees as well as give suggestions on what to add to the menu to further enhance the variety of options available to the customers.
“Chef’s asking for some suggestions on the menu; he isn’t just looking for a theme. As long as it’s different enough from last year’s menu to appeal to the people’s attention, or something more intricate from last year is what we’re looking for,” Callahan said.
Last year’s menu included a variety of entrees, which included the following: cinnamon roll french toast, acai bowls, sausage gravy pot pie, tavern club, dragon eggs and breakfast wraps.
Another detail Callahan said is that the restaurant will be allowing parents of the culinary staff to try out the menu on Thursdays.
“So last Thursday we were opened to the parents of the culinary staff, and starting on September 19, we’re open to alumni and parents. I don’t think we’re going to be opened to the actual public, because of school policy or whatever, but we’re definitely having a lot more people, and it’s not just staff now like how it was last year,” Callahan said.
Chef Mitchel Smithey explained that we would expect to see a change within the next upcoming weeks of the school year.
”So this Thursday we will continue to offer our regular meals which are included in our current menu, and then starting on the month of October you will expect to see our new entrées in our menu for the month of October.” Smithey said.
Starting next Thursday, Culinary will be introducing more entrées to their menu. Don’t be afraid to stop by to see what they are serving.
