The annual Robinson homecoming dance will be held Saturday, Sept. 27 from 7 to 11 p.m. in The Egypt Shrine Center. Plan to carpool with your friends because parking is limited. Tickets go on sale from Monday, Aug. 25 to Wednesday, Sept. 24. and cost $55 on MyPaymentsPlus. This year’s theme is: “A Knight at the Nile.”
Administration would like to note that no tickets will be sold at the door as they must be purchased in advance. Students may bring a guest who does not attend Robinson High School. However, a student bringing a guest, must complete a homecoming guest form prior to purchasing tickets. The guest forms are available now and are due by Sept. 18. No late guest applications will be accepted. Guest tickets will also be purchased through MyPaymentPlus account, once the application has been approved by Mr. Jaksec or Ms. Franks.
All students [9th through 12th grade] in good standing may run for homecoming court. If you’re interested in running for homecoming court, the court applications will be available starting Friday, Sept. 5 and are due by Friday, Sept. 12. Students can also pick these forms up from Ms. Kowalik in Room #B204.
Once approved by administration, a student may campaign for homecoming court from Sept. 15 through Sept. 19. Students campaigning may place only one poster in the cafeteria, and the poster must be approved by Mr. Wade. Students may also campaign through social media.
Voting for the homecoming court will be on Sept. 22, beginning at 10 a.m., and voting will close at noon on Sept. 24. All voting is done through Canvas. The court winners for all classes will be announced at the pep rally on Friday, Sept. 26. The senior king and queen will be crowned during halftime of the homecoming game on Friday, Sept. 26.
