A special night in a successful season. The Robinson girl’s flag football team celebrated senior night at a home game against the Steinbrenner High School Warriors on Monday, April 12. Seniors walked the field with their families and were gifted bouquets and other parting gifts from their younger teammates, sharing heartfelt messages before the game.

Both Robinson and Steinbrenner were tied 7-7 after the first quarter, but the Knights took hold of the rest of the game and scored another 14 by the end of the second quarter, another six after the third quarter and finished off with another seven points after the fourth quarter. The Knights beat the Warriors 34-7, placing them as undefeated for all of the 2021 season’s games.

The girls are set to play District Semi-Finals on Monday, April 19 at 7 p.m. in their home field. District Finals will also be at home on Wednesday, April 21 at 7 p.m.
