On Tuesday, Nov. 19th, the Robinson Knights prevailed against the Jefferson Dragons with a final score of 63 – 46 in their opening game of the 2024 season.
The game, full of very exciting moments and fantastic plays, was a great showcase of this year’s Robinson Boys’ Basketball Team.
“For the team to start out with a huge win like that is great because it builds camaraderie and it’s helping us build momentum going into the rest of our season. Just being able to take things–good things and bad things–and be able to grow from it,” Boys’ Basketball head coach Terrence Briggs said. “We stuck it out as a team and pulled through with the victory.”
Zyon Floyd (‘26), a junior on the basketball team, reflected on the game and the team’s performance.
“It was a great game. We have a lot of things we got to clean up, but overall, it’s a great way to start the season,” Floyd said.
The Boys’ Basketball team is ready and motivated to progress through their official winter season.
