The Robinson girls’ flag football team delivered a performance like no other against the Jefferson Dragons. With the score being a blowout 61-0 in a district game, the Knights are proving everyone why they deserve another consecutive ring. From the opening whistle, the Knights dominated on both sides of the ball. Quarterback Haidyn Spano threw for sex passing touchdowns along with over 200 passing yards. With a combination of 279 yards, sophomore Izzy Harris ran for 109 averaging 14 yards a carry. Sophomore Jala Hymes had three sacks and helped her defensive teammates keep the dragons scoreless.
“Although the scoreboard looked great, there’s still things we need to fix to be better,” Spano said. “We need to focus on getting to the ball in easy situations and work on fumbles.”
