Aliyah Shuman is a senior at Robinson high school and a Staff Writer Knight Writers. This is her first year on staff.

Shuman was brought into newspaper with the initial interest in yearbook but is still very excited to see what newspaper has to offer. She is very excited to take pictures at pep rallies, football games and other school spirt events.

"My goals for this year are to get better at writing and taking pictures and just to have fun my senior year with a good teacher," Shuman said.

Shuman has a very busy outside of school life with managing two jobs. She also previously played volleyball for Robinson as well as a club team. She played with her club team for 3 years, while playing at Robinson for 2 years.

As a military brat, Shuman Has moved seven times in the past 16 years.

"I was born in North Carolina, moved to Georgia, Texas, Rhode Island, Belgium, and then Florida," Shuman said.

With being as senior in high school comes college applications and decisions for the future. Shuman wants to continue her schooling in the state of Florida, looking at all Florida colleges.

"I don't mind doing community college. I will most likely do two years of community and then transfer over to USF or UF," Shuman said.
