Every nine seconds, a woman in the U.S. is domestically abused.

That’s what inspired Robinson High School students to start the annual tradition of a basketball that recognizes the high risks of a person experiencing domestic violence. With the gymnasium decorated in purple, students gathered for a boys’ basketball game against Spoto High School on Jan. 27 to get loud and break the silence.
