Everyone enjoys making a delicious treat every once in a while, but, especially for high schoolers, we don’t have that much time. These peanut butter spider cookies are super fun and don’t take that long to make. In fact, it only takes 10 minutes, and the recipe makes 12 cookies.

Spider Cookies

Ingredients:

  • 12 peanut butter cookies
  • 12 mini Reese’s peanut butter cups
  • 1/4 cup semi-sweet chocolate (melted)
  • OPTIONAL: 24 mini candy eyeballs

Instructions:

  1. Melt the chocolate in the microwave, stir every 30 seconds until smooth and melty.
  2. Transfer chocolate to Ziploc bag and cut the end to create a piping bag.
  3. Put a little bit of melted chocolate in the middle of a peanut butter cookie.
  4. Press a mini peanut butter cup on top.
  5. Use the piping bag to create 8 “legs” with the chocolate, 4 “legs” on each side.
  6. Repeat with the remaining cookies.
  7. If adding candy eyes, use a little bit of the melted chocolate and put it on the front of the peanut butter cup and then press 2 mini candy eyes on top.

The cookies were delicious! They were super easy to make and the taste of the cookie mixed perfectly with the little spider on top. It also looked super cute and is sure to be a big hit.
