This Saturday, November 23rd, Hillsborough Education Foundation will host its 2nd annual Strides for Education 5K Walk/Run. This is a free event, but any participant who registers online and raises at least $25 for the foundation will receive a free Strides for Education T-shirt. The walk will take place on November 23rd at the Tampa Bay Times Forum. Registration for those who did not register online begins at 8am, and the walk starts at 9am. The top fundraising middle school will win a 2-year Florida prepaid scholarship for one student, and the top fundraising high school will win a $5000 scholarship for a student at the school. The overall fundraising middle/high school fundraising winner will receive an Apple iPad.
