April is designated as the Month of the Military Child. Created by Secretary of Defense Caspar W. Weinberger in 1986, the Month of the Military Child is designed to honor and recognize the contribution and challenges a child whose parent(s) are in the miltary goes through. Robinson has a close proximity to the military, as military students living on base are automatically zoned for Robinson for high school. In total, about 15% of the students at Robinson have a parent who is in the military. Pictured below are the senior military students.
