On May 15, Robinson kissed the last of the class of 2024 goodbye with the Traditional senior clap-out. After a breakfast celebrating their achievements where the seniors received honors cords, senior varsity letters and letters from relatives and loved ones wishing them good luck as they begin their journey into adulthood.
Sierra Haton (’24) reflects on her time as a Robinson Knight as she continues her academic career as a UCF Knight.
“It was a very surreal experience after being there for four years and going through covid, construction and eventually getting a new school,” Hatton said. “It’s kind of felt like a second home so it’s weird knowing that I never have to be there before they close the gates at exactly 8:30 and leave at 3:25 every day.”
As these Knights walk out of the R for the last time, their IB counterparts finished their exams. With these two endings on the same morning, the 2024 class will now need a visitor pass to enter what once was their home away from home.
The graduation ceremony to celebrate theses seniors and their success will be held at the Florida State Fairgrounds next Saturday, May 24 at 3:30 p.m.
