Gen Z’s baggy t-shirts and flared leggings compared to the sharp professional wear of polos and slacks of most teachers is a stark contrast. On the second day of Homecoming spirit week, Sept. 17, 2024, teachers and students swapped styles for the day.
Some students attempted to poke fun at their band director, Chris Revett, by wearing his signature fit to school. Donned in the Varsity jazz band polo, Catie Powell (’25), Jonaz Awad (’25) and James Andrews (’26) walked into Revett’s office to surprise him.
“It took him a minute to realize this morning and then he laughed and it was actually coincidence that we happened to wear the exact same shirt as him,” Powell said.
