About the Contributors
Joey Treviño, Senior Staff Writer
Joey Treviño is a senior at Robinson and a Senior Staff Writer for the Knight Writers. This is his second year with Knight Writers.
“I’m always going to write my heart out," he said.
Treviño has and will always go for success and victory, and will never back down for anyone, especially when achieving his own goals. While his goals might be seen crazy and outrageous to the normal person, his goals of becoming a multimillionaire are what he will always strive for.
During his time away from school, he’s thriving for success through his job working at Publix from 15 to 20 hours a week.
“With a job comes the money, and with the money comes the honey!” This quote alone has inspired Treviño to continue a path of righteousness towards himself and the community that he is around.
While at Robinson, he is well known as an active swimmer for the Robinson swim team.
"I like that it keeps me tan, my eye blue and my hair blonde," Treviño said.
After high school, Treviño will continue his dreams of becoming a millionaire, then multimillionaire and after that billionaire. Every step he takes is just one more steppingstone for his path of success, never taking a rest at any point and continuing forever for as long as he lives.
Achieving this dream comes with tons and tons of risk taking, and Joey is very much aware of this part of the job. Joey takes lots of risks towards his dreams.
“If you can’t put yourself out there to make the bread, then how can you move ahead?" Treviño said.
Coleton Rone, Staff Writer
Coleton Rone is a junior and a staff writer for the Knight Writers. This is his first year on staff.
Rone is looking toward being one of the new hosts for the Knight Writers' very own Knight Mic and is most excited for the environment and excitement that surrounds it.
"I joined newspaper because I thought I would have a lot of fun doing the interviews [for Knight Mic]," Rone said. "I'm excited for the football games specifically...I think the interviews there are going to be very enjoyable because the environment at [football games] is an experience of its own."
Outside of journalism, Rone enjoys tapping into his musical side, he enjoys listening to music and playing his instruments. He plays bass guitar on his own, but academically, Rone plays double bass for Orchestra.
Aside from music, Rone is a true fitness enthusiast at heart, as he enjoys testing his physical limits with weightlifting. He expresses this passion of his by lifting at least 4 times per week.
When he isn't becoming a rising musician and expressing his athletic abilities, Rone spends his free time with his many pets but primarily his cat named Duck while watching Amazing World of Gumball.
When asked about his greatest inspiration, the top person that comes to his mind is his Dad.
"...he's a good person [with] good moral values, and he doesn't do anything despicable or evil," Rone said.
After he leaves Robinson, Rone isn't quite sure what he will do next. He plans on either going to a 4 year university to major in business, or going to a trade school to learn more about a career in mechanics.
