Football:

Friday November, 2 was Senior night for Robinson football. The Knights lost to Bloomingdale 14-48, ending their chance at advancing to the playoffs.

“We did put it all out there… we really needed that game, but I guess we didn’t want it more than the other team did,” Anthony Papp (’19) said.

Volleyball:

The Lady Knights lost to Sebring High School 3-2 in the Regional Semifinals on Tuesday, October 30.

“The game itself was a little unexpected, but we rose to the challenge and, even though we lost, we played very well,” Merritt McDowell (’19) said.

Swim:

The Knights competed in the Districts meet at Academy of the Holy Names on Saturday, November 3. Both the boys’ and the girls’ teams won their meets and advanced on to the Regionals meet.

“We’re very cohesive and encouraging of each other… and we work very hard in practice. Our coaches push us to be the best that we can be,” Rosie Matthews (’19), captain of the girl’s swim team, said.

The Regionals meet is Saturday, November 10 at the Northshore Aquatic Complex (901 North Shore Dr. NE, 33701) in St. Petersburg.
