Robinson PTSA once again hosted its annual homecoming dress drive for students.

From Aug. 29 from Sept. 2, the organization was collecting gently used dresses and men’s suits in front of the auditorium from 8:00-8:30 in the morning. They also welcomed gently used accessories, such as shoulder wraps and purses.

Student members of PTSA appreciate the dress drive as a way to get involved and help their fellow classmates.

“I think the dress drive is a great opportunity for students who can’t afford a homecoming dress or suit. By donating to the dress drive you give others the opportunity to wear beautiful dresses that you don’t use anymore,” Valeria Restrepo (’24) said.

If you miss them in the mornings this past week, donations can be dropped off in Ms. Bryan’s office in student affairs.

Donated attire can be browsed starting next week during all lunches.

“This year we have suits, dresses, shoes, and even jewelry that has been donated. There is something for everyone and it is free for all students,” PTSA Sponsor Ami Welch said.
