This evening, Robinson hosted 9 schools from around the county for the first cheerleading competition of the season.

The broken air conditioning and flickering lights didn’t hinder the team’s ability to perform, however. A significant comeback is on the way from the knights’ cheer team.

“I think the team did absolutely amazing. This was Robinson cheer’s first competition since April of 2021 with an almost [entirely] new team and I think we slayed. Each cheerleader put so much into the routine and I know we are only going to get better.” Sara Gainer (’23) said.

Since the football season is over, many look forward to seeing more from the cheer team and are glad to see them back and better than ever.

There will be weekly competitions that the Knights will attend. The next one is hosted by Alonso High School on Dec. 6.
