Week 10 of the NFL season was a week of blowouts. Eight games were decided by two touchdowns or more while only four games were decided by less than 10 points. Here’s a look at three key games from this week’s slate:

Cleveland 24, Cincinnati 3

The Browns continued their impressive rise to the top of the AFC North with a 21-point road victory on Thursday Night Football. This was their first road victory against a divisional opponent since 2008, snapping a 17-game losing streak. The Cleveland defense was impressive, intercepting Cincinnati’s Andy Dalton three times while also sacking him twice. The win, combined with help from the New York Jets, pushes the Browns into first place in the division.

Miami 16, Detroit 20

The Miami Dolphins carried a 5-3 record into the Motor City on Sunday and looked poised to improve to 6-3 with a 16-13 lead late in the fourth. However, Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford found Theo Riddick for an 11-yard touchdown with 29 seconds left to give Detroit a dramatic comeback victory. Stafford completed 25 of 40 passes for 280 yards and two touchdowns while his favorite target, Calvin Johnson, caught seven passes for 113 yards and a touchdown. Dolphins quarterback Ryan Tannehill totaled 207 yards and a touchdown on 27 completions. The victory puts the Lions atop the NFC North with a 7-2 record.

St. Louis 14, Arizona 31

The Cardinals fought through an injury to starting quarterback Carson Palmer on their way to a 31-14 victory. It was later revealed that Palmer tore his ACL and will miss the remainder of the season. On the first series after the injury, backup Drew Stanton hit John Brown for a 48-yard touchdown to give Arizona a 17-14 lead. Patrick Peterson then intercepted his second pass of the day, returning this one 30 yards for a touchdown before Antonio Cromartie returned a fumble 14 yards for a score to extend the lead to 31-14. The Cardinals’ victory improves their record to 8-1, which is the best in the league.
