The long-standing rivalry between Robinson and Plant has been apart of the two schools history since their opening days. Underneath bright Thursday-Knight-Lights, the aggressive rivals faced off in their annual game on Jack Peter’s field.
The game was a constant back and forth between the two teams. As soon as the Panthers made it to the endzone, the Knights met them with a touchdown on the turn-over.
At the end of the fourth the Knights attempted to make a final push to tie up the score. Ultimately, this attempt was in vain with the final score of the match being 21-14 in the Panther’s favor.
“We have a few things to improve on before we start district play, this week will be good to hash some of those things out before we play our next big opponent, Tampa Catholic,” said Wilton Rollins (’24), a wide receiver for the Knights.
