On Jan. 16, the Knights lost to the Plant Panthers, 31-56. As the Knights move forward from a heartbreaking loss, the team will have to find more ways to execute and score more points.
“The Plant loss was very hard to go through because we were so close coming out of the half, but we just didn’t execute our plays along with us not hustling back on defense.” Malik Williams (’25) said. “We let too many teams beat us at their own game and were not playing our game, so once we play our game, we’ll win games.”
With the loss for the boys, the lady Knights made up for the boys loss by winning against the Panthers 42-35. Niamaya Fraser (’25) played a big role in the win with a field goal percentage of 83% scoring 13 points. Her loud crowd roaring energy helped the lady Knights on the great win.
