Where did you get your outfit?

“My shirts are from H&M and my dad jeans are from American Eagle, and my Vans are just from Vans.”

Is there any specific accessory that you feel makes a statement no matter what you wear? 

“Oh, definitely a good belt or a hat, both can make bold statements.”

What is fashion to you?

”For me, it’s an art form. You know expressing yourself through clothing.”

How would you describe your style?

“Everywhere, I don’t really have a set style, it varies day to day, like what I’m wearing right now and what I wear tomorrow could be completely different.”

What is your go-to outfit?

“Probably something similar to this. I wear these jeans quite frequently so I’d probably wear these and tuck a shirt into it depending on how it looks.”

Who or what inspires your style?

“I think the main inspiration that got me into the style I wear the most, something like this, is Conan Gray. Girl in Red and ROLE MODEL are also people who inspire my fits.”

Do you find yourself following fashion trends or do you do your own thing?

“I’m currently following the mom jean trend, you know that’s a big thing right now, but I’m also doing my own thing, or at least trying to.”

“Do you plan your outfits?”

“Typically, I do plan my outfits the night before but sometimes I throw together something in the mornings.”

Where do you shop?

”In general, I shop at Urban Outfitters, but I also spend a lot of my time at the Salvation Army, I actually got the jeans I am currently wearing from there.”

About the outfit:

The shirts: Pope is wearing a black and white long sleeve striped pride shirt from Hollister, paired with a graphic tee worn over, reading, “Let’s start a cult.” Pictured with four children around a drink stand. This sinister yet strikingly simple look draws the eye because the stripes under a solid colored t-shirt contrast each other perfectly.

The belt: The belt is a simple statement, but does a lot of the outfit. The black patent leather belt ties the outfit together because of the simplicity and the silver detailing.

The pants: Pope loves his ‘dad jeans’. The jeans are dark denim with slight light wash in the center. The loose fit is trending right now, making this very hipster yet comfortable. The holes with the frey also adds to the hipster  vibes, it’s a little detail but it incorporates a little bit of fun.

The shoes: The shoes are the simple black and white checkered Vans. The checkered Vans contrasts with the striped shirt, making a good clash of patterns. With Vans on trend right now, this was a smart way to take the trend and make it your own.
