Photo Gallery: Rogers Park Invitational Meet

The Varsity Girls and Boys Cross Country teams participated in an invitational hosted by Plant High School on September 28th. While neither teams ended in top ten, multiple personal records were passed in the team.

The cross country team competed at the Rogers Park Invitational on Sept. 28. The boys did not make it to the top nine teams. Individually, Roman Montero (’24) ran the fastest time of 17:45:80 which earned him 12th place. The girls placed seventh as a team with Sarah Roberts (’22) running the fastest time of 21:06.40 which earned her 17th place.

After a tough race in her season, Brindise reflects on her run with a negative view. "My main goal is to improve my mentality when running because I feel like that's a main part of cross country," she says.
