Who: Melissa Masters

What: New Spanish 1 and 2 teacher for IB

Education: Bachelor’s degree from a college in South America, where she is from, and two masters from USF.

Prior Experience: Has taught since 1998, and has taught Spanish since 2001. Has worked in preschools, middle schools, high schools, and as a professor at USF. Most recently, she taught Spanish at Chamberlain High School in Tampa.

Favorite Part of Teaching: “The moment when you can see a student’s eyes that they got it, which is amazing. And [also] seeing the process, [the student] coming from zero to whenever they achieve their goal.”
