This summer the “no trend” trend is in. This trend is all about expressing yourself whether it’s “in” or “out”, wear what makes you feel you.
Lace Up Shorts
This summer we’re moving from lace up maxi skirts to shorts. Lace up shorts are the cutest touch to any simple top and the lace is interchangeable to match any fit. Although they’re hard to come by at your local thrift store, vintage stores tend to carry an assortment!
Funky Blouses
Instead of wearing those basic baby tees, switch it out for a cropped or funny blouse of some sort. Some of my favorite styles include milkmaid tops and anything with a funky collar. Tons of cool button up and blouses are readily available at your local thrift just make sure you look thoroughly through the racks!
Bangles
The perfect accessory to add to any simple outfit. Bangles can be found anywhere for the price as low as a quarter. The bracelets come in all sorts of shapes, colors, sizes and textures. One of my favorite looks is bangles stacked on both arms!
Slip Dresses
one of the easiest things to find in the thrift store, located in the pajama section is slip dresses. Although used to sleep in, they make the perfect flowy summer dress, coming in an array of colors and patterns for every occasion. You can dress up a slip dress with boots, a belt and bangles or rock it on the simpler end with kitten heels and hair done up in a braid.
Brown Boots
Brown boots come in all shapes and designs. For outdoors an embroidered cowboy boot completed any look, especially with a bikini, where brown leather biker boots look perfect with a flowy maxi skirt or denim shorts! Brown boots range anywhere from 10 dollars at your local thrift store to 100 for an insane pair at a vintage store.
Lacey Pieces
Lace pieces will always be in. These pieces range from lace bows in your hair to tops to skirts. Lace clothing dresses up any outfit without any effort and perfect for the humidity and heat of Florida.
