Briana Garcia, Staff Writer
Briana Garcia is a freshman at Robinson and a staff writer for RHS Today and Knight Writers.
Garcia joined the journalism program to advance her interest in photography. Although she doesn't have any official experience, she loves to "take photos around the city" and hopes to join the multimedia staff.
Her other interests include cycling, drawing, and listening to music. Garcia's diverse music taste encompasses 90's rap, R&B, indie music, and hip hop—some of her favorite artists being Kanye, Kid Cudi, Frank Ocean, and Tyler the Creator. However, her favorite pastime has always been hanging out with her friends. They are her top priority.
Outside of journalism, Garcia is involved in many aspects of the Robinson community. She is on the RHS flag football team and the Robinson girls' wrestling team. And she plans to join a variety of clubs, including Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA), drama club, Mu Alpha Theta, and fashion club. Garcia is particularly passionate about fashion and expressed her desire to develop her own unique style.
In ten years, Garcia "[sees herself] being happy and feeling successful and accomplished. I see myself going into business or law and if possible pursuing photography on the side." As she goes through high school, Garcia will continue to pursue and explore her many varied hobbies and interests.
