Light the (K)night pep rally to be held tonight
October 19, 2016
The light the (k)night after school pep rally is being held tonight from 6:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Robinson’s Jack Peters Field. All students are encouraged to attend and show their school spirit to promote this week’s homecoming dance and football game, as well as breast cancer awareness month. There will be music, food trucks, and entertainment including the student talent show and the lighting of the RHS sign.
“We are cheering on our football team and showcasing Robinson talent,” said student government adviser Kristina Chowning. “We have glow sticks, food trucks, a DJ, a dance floor, super fun stuff.”
The event is free to attend, but students can bring spending money for food. Glow sticks are available for donation, and money raised will support breast cancer awareness and research.
