During this holiday season, students and faculty are coming together to help their fellow classmates. Leadership teacher Cynthia Leah-Fernandez and her students created a giving tree, also named the angel tree, in the guidance office in order to give to Knights in need.

“They want to be able to make a students Christmas much more brighter and give them an opportunity to open a gift which in other cases they might not be able to because their parents cant provide that type of Christmas for them,” said guidance secretary Lily Salis.

Teachers can nominate students who they feel deserve these gifts anonymously to Marjan Deboskey in the guidance office. If students or teachers want to get involved with this event, they can grab a gift tag off of the giving tree, buy the gift, wrap it and return it anonymously to the guidance office.
