On March 13, the Florida Department of Education directed all school districts to close campuses for 14 days due to COVID-19.

Hillsborough county public schools will be closed until March 30. Extra curricular activities have been canceled for the week of March 23-30. According to a press release from HCPS, all schools will be thoroughly cleaned during this time.

Students will continue their work online through Edsby and Clever starting on March 23.

“We’ve told all the teachers to start putting everything online, we asked all the English teachers to make sure their students knew how to get into Edsby and Clever,” said Jennifer Rosage, Robinson’s Assistant Principal for Curriculum.

*Update*: Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has extended the school closure until April 15. Students will start online learning March 23 but assignments will not be counted for a grade until March 30.
