While the holidays are known for the act of giving, it is also known for the delicious food and desserts, and sometimes the awkward dinner conversations. However, if you want to keep everyone in a happy and festive mood during your annual holiday get together, try baking these simple, yet delicious apple pies. By the end of the night, everyone will be asking you for more, because that’s how incredibly good this homemade dessert really is!

Ingredients:(varies depending on serving size)

  • 1 box refrigerated Pillsburry Pie Crust
  • 2 Cups diced peeled apples
  • 1/3 Cup Sugar
  • 1/3 Cup brown sugar
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
  • 1 stick of butter

Instructions:

  1. Heat oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit
  2. Unroll pie crust on a flat surface.
  3. Cut, peel, and dice the apples
  4. Melt your butter  in a sauce pan on medium heat. Combine the brown sugar, sugar, and cinnamon after butter has melted.
  5. Add apples to sauce pan
  6. Mold your crust into the cupcake tins
  7. Bake for 15 to 20 minutes or until light golden brown

If you prefer you can also add ice cream or whipped cream on top to add an extra touch of sweetness!

This dessert can be whipped up in a matter of minutes, which is why it’s time well spent! This simple recipe is easy for all and is perfect for those who are looking for a last minute holiday food idea!
