Every week, we ask Robinson Knights to tell us about their music preferences and then compile a playlist on Spotify of their favorite tracks.

Our next mixer, Patricia Martin (’16), likes a diverse variety of music, although her favorites are love ballads.

“I like more romance songs,” Patricia said. “[Mostly] smooth songs that are not upbeat.”

Patricia finds listening to the slow love songs she likes helps her focus.

“I feel like its the best type of music to do your homework with,” Patricia said. “It makes me feel relaxed, and it helps me concentrate.”

Some of her favorite artists include Shawn Mendes, Ed Sheeran, Sam Smith, and Ariana Grande.
