Preview: Fall concert lineup heats up the Bay

As the temperature cools in the Tampa Bay area, the concert lineup keeps getting hotter and hotter. Over the next three months, there are many artists putting on shows worth your time. Read below for some of the best acts coming to Tampa this fall.

Rae Sremmurd

A hip hop duo made up of two brothers, known for their hits “No Type” and “No Flex Zone,” which both made Billboard’s Top 40 charts. They will be performing Oct. 4 at Jannus Live in St. Petersburg.

Alessia Cara

A Canadian singer and songwriter who rose to fame after her first single, “Here”, her album “Know-it All” was released in November 2015. Since then she has been nominated for a number of awards, including the MTV Video Music Awards Best Pop Video. She will perform Oct. 27 at the Ruth Eckerd Hall.

Kesha

After having some legal trouble, this electro-pop singer is finally ready to return to performing. She is known for her hits “Tik Tok” and “We R Who We R”. Kesha will perform Oct. 25 at the Ritz Theater.

Fitz and the Tantrums

Since forming in 2008, the band has gained popularity through their singles “Out of My League” and “Handclap.” The band is named after the lead singer, Michael Fitzpatrick, and makes indie pop and neo-soul music. They will be performing Nov. 3 at Jannus Live.

Carrie Underwood

She rose to fame after winning the fourth season of American Idol. Since then, she became one of the most successful music artists in any genre and released five albums. She will perform Nov. 16 at Amalie Arena.

Dolly Parton

The most honored female country performer, now 70, she continues to perform for audiences and release new music. Her latest album is called “Pure & Simple” and is her 43rd studio album. She will perform Nov. 26 at Amalie Arena.
