The brand new Marvel movie “Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings” is a suspense-filled, hilarious, action movie starring Simu Lin. So far, the crowd has gone wild for the new twisting story and has loved the beautifully developed characters. You are sure to be wishing it never ends.

Secretly a martial arts master, Shang-Chi (Simu Lin) has been avoiding his scarring past for years, even changing his name to Shawn. But, one day, his past found him, and he was forced to face it head-on when people came and took the necklace given to him by his mother.  Shang-Chi and his best friend Katy (Awkwafina) travel to find his sister, Xialing (Meng’er Zhang) to help and warn her. The three of them are then forced to stop their dad, Mandarin (Tony Leung Chiu-Wai) before he makes the biggest mistake he could ever make.

After watching the movie, I was in awe. The acting was on point with emotions seeming to come naturally and not forced. Even though the plot is quite serious and intense, the entire theater was laughing at the well-placed jokes. Also, the fight scenes were very well put together and the soundtrack for them was outstanding. I was so amazed by the cinematography and I would definitely give it a second watch.

My favorite part of the movie has to be either the first fight scene or the last one, all of the fight scenes were so nicely put together, but these two stood out to me the most with the emotions, music, and fighting techniques. If you like action movies in the slightest, then you will absolutely love this movie. So, if you haven’t seen it and were debating watching it or not, I highly recommend you do.
